Beautiful, sexy, attractive and desired? Everywhere you go the men come a flocking?
So you’ve had this problem too?!? My friend who is a flight attendant did what lots of ladies do: invested in a Keep Away Ring.
If you want to go out and have fun with the gals, or just don’t feel like being bothered, this cheap little thrill will give you an excuse not to talk. This little accessory, which has quickly become a single girl’s best friend or best beau, is better known as a Keep Away Ring. It sends men walking in the other direction. (Or you could just get fat, let yourself go, stop waxing and forget about deodorant—and it’d have the same result).
If you decide on the more hygienic route, and someone comes your way that is worthy of the real thing (an engagement ring), slip the little puppy into your pocket and turn on your sparkling charm. For more keep aways and celeb-inspired finds, visit Emitations.com

Actress and In Style Magazine Contributing Editor, Rachel Bilson is one of the most influential personas in the fashion sphere. She has become a fixture on the ‘Best-Dressed’ list of major fashion magazines with her impeccable style and immaculate sartorial tastes. So her latest venture as a jewelry designer didn’t exactly come as a surprise, but that doesn’t mean we’re any less thrilled about it.
After a trip to Botswana and South Africa where she learned about the diamond mining industry, the 28-year-old starlet designed a bracelet for the Diamond Empowerment Fund (DEF). The rustic bracelet ($100) is the perfect accessory for every wrist with its tan leather strings and delicate gold charm with an inset round diamond. Katie Holmes’ effortless style is one to be envied. She takes the phrase “easy dressing” to a whole new level and combines comfort with class in a way that is unmatched.
At the Sundance Film Festival, she paired a double-breasted coat with a chambray shirt, black jeans, black boots, and ultra-chic sunglasses, for the perfect cold weather look.
Martin + Osa is the perfect destination for basics and classic pieces. To emulate Katie’s look, pair their Western Chambray Shirt, Slim Fit Jean, and Movie Star Ray-Ban Sunglasses: a flawless ensemble for under $300.
These pieces are perfect for the Winter to Spring transition so think of the purchases less as taking the plunge and more like acquiring some valuable assets.
Smart investments are key in times like these but in fashion, sometimes risks are essential. Staying on-trend is something that every fashion fancier must keep in mind but every now and then, stepping out of the box and embracing a little edge can put you ahead of the game.

Luxury jewelry designer Jules Kim’s line Bijules definitely has people talking, and the second I met Jules I totally understood why. After her recent collection showing at Church Boutique in Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to sit down with the designer. Not only does she design a totally rocking collection of baubles, but she has her hand in every pot of the fashion industry, and is really making a name for herself amongst independent designers. Launching her high-end jewelry line 6 years ago, Jules sees the world through “jewelry glasses” and draws inspiration from work experience and life knowledge that is always going through her head.
Jules is no stranger to fashion. She attended Art School in Richmond, Virginia and studied Art History in France. She is a true lover of the arts, and does not discriminate between what is art, and started designing from her DJ background. Jules is also in the works of creating a swimwear line and a diffusion line, alongside her brand consulting business, One Full, with partner Bliss Lau. This jewel is one busy lady who is constantly seeking to defy fashion standards.
The diffusion line was created in part to protect herself against the numerous companies that have been ripping off her designs. It will launch in the Fall, with some eco-friendly pieces and prices will range between $25-$100, which is a great savings from her luxury line, but will be costume jewelry reminiscent of her eponymous high-end collection.
Most recently, Jules has teamed with Keep A Child Alive, donating 10% off sales at in-store events to the charity, which she created an exclusive piece for as well. And for her upcoming Fashion Week and Market Week events, she will be working with Yele to support relief in Haiti. Jules started Bijules on her own, and her giving back is just a testament to the kind of person she is: hardworking, innovative and a true original.
There are many pieces that she reintroduces for each collection, however she is sure to constantly make updates to her jewelry staples, which include bar rings and nail rings. For Fall 2010, Bijules will add Bone hoops, bracelets, chains and rings to the collection. Bones are representative of strength, and in this collection, she drew inspiration from India and Africa. Now, not only can you purchase her jewels in stores internationally or online, you can also custom order a piece from the designer, however, it will cost you. But can you really put a price tag on a one-of-a-kind stunner?
Jules Kim is the face of Bijules, and she has a message to everyone reading this. Whatever you may want to achieve, “in order to be successful, risk everything.” She risked it all, and came out with gold.
For more information, or to shop the collection, visit Bijules.
When it comes to Moschino’s Pre-Fall 2010 Collection, all that glitters really is gold. Designer Rossella Jardini is taking the house back to its roots and putting a new-age spin on archival pieces. The signature logo belt is shown in a number of looks, capitalizing on the recent buzz its had after being spotted on some of the web’s most fashionable bloggers.
Flashy and femininine are the best ways to describe the collection and they are ringing in the new decade in true Moschino taste. Franco Moschino’s presence can be felt everywhere from bold prints to catchy phrases like “Status Symbol” on a tee shirt with an embellished neckline.
There’s a little something for every woman in the collection from tweed suits for the sophisticate, beautiful evening gowns for the romantic and leather minis and zipper detailing galore for the bad-ass.
The accessories from the collection are just as bold as the ready-to-wear from statement necklaces and oversized hoop earrings all in gold to gloves that add the perfect to touch to any fall ensemble. The handbags take on every shape and form possible from tiny gold minaudieres to roomy shoulder bags with fringe. The footwear adds another layer of energy from bright red femme-fatale heels to booties with a contrasting toe, adding a little edge to each look they’re paired with.
Moschino’s Pre-Fall 2010 Collection is giving a new and more positive meaning to the term “Gold-Digger”.

Ecclectic and charismatic in form, the new Milly jewelry line from designer Michelle Smith has it all. Set to premiere in the beginning of February, the jewelry collection features “a mix of 18 karat-plated gold, crystal, acrylic and enamel.”
Already a clothing designer, a jewelry collection seemed like an inevitable next step for Smith.
“I have been collecting jewelry for years as it has always been a passion of both mine and my mother’s,” Smith said.
“In addition to a personal love for jewelry, it was a natural next step for us as my clothes are known for luxe embellishments and trims.”
The collection can be seen in fine retailers and boutiques starting next month. Prices range from $85-$325.
For more information see Milly.
