The War of Worlds star was spotted last week with her stylish Proenza Schouler PS1 bag in black. The bag, available at Barney’s for $1,995.00, also comes in pink and white.
The leather flap front has a metal foldover closure with a removable shoulder strap and the bag is oh so perfect on any urbanista. The PS1s were released last year, but have that stylish city look that won’t ever fade. The bags can feel a little masculine, much like a messenger bag, but the soft leather and closures define feminine appeal.
Proenza Schouler was founded in 2002 by Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough, who first met in 1999 while studying at Parsons School of Design. Hernandez interned at Michael Kors and McCollough interned at Marc Jacobs while at Parsons, and the result was a line that defined youthfulness, minimalism and urban sleekness with pencil skirts, tailor men’s coats and color-blocked chiffon evening gowns cinched with satin belts.
