Ok girlies, so summer has left your hair parched? Well, I am here to share a little beauty secret with you, especially with those of you that have relaxed hair. I have been using a drop of Avocado oil on my hair in between washes and have found that it restores the elasticity of my hair (the way to test elasticity is to take a stray hair and pull it at each end, if it pops too fast it’s inelastic, which is not good). Avocado oil is a great source of daily moisture for the hair. After applying a couple of drops wait a couple of days and test the elasticity again, you will see a huge difference. Avocado oil can be picked up at your local health food store or ordered online, BE SURE IT’s REFINED. Enjoy!

why refined? I thought unrefined waspreferable due to its higher vitamin and chlorophyll content? Please clarify. Thanks for the post
Refined does have somewhat fewer nutrients, but it can also go rancid very fast. If you use refined you will have less scent, and no additional byproducts in the oil that can rot.
