The Crown Collection was inspired by what the designers at Sur La Table saw on their travels to Paris and Italy and what they saw in antique markets overseas.

“We are always looking for what’s new and what’s fresh,” Linda Nangle, senior buyer for the brand, said. “I traveled quite extensively and this crown kept reappearing. We took the images of this and made it into a tabletop collection.”

Sur La Table is calling the porcelain collection an exclusive set, and has even released a Crown Bar Collection of Cocktail Classes ($9.95), Martini Glasses ($12.95) and a Crown Bar Pitcher ($24.95).

“We have this great barware. It is all fun and festive for the holidays,” Nangle said.
