Rad Hourani is the latest underground designer to add to your fashion vocabulary. He’s a Jordanian-born designer that hails from Montreal, whose designs are a mix between Rick Owens and Gareth Pugh, giving the term “androgynous” a whole new meaning.
Hourani burst onto the fashion scene with hip fashionistas like Leigh Lezark and model Devon Aoki sporting his designs.
His Spring 2010 Collection follows his usual tradition of dark structural pieces. Silver fringe adorn the designs and trends in items such as, biking shorts, leather vests, and slashed pants.
Eerie music rang throughout the large loft space of Milk Studios as the models walked the runway with Hamish Bowles of Vogue who sat front row taking in Hourani’s designs.
Rad Hourani’s Spring 2010 Collection is fit for the New York urban crowd who loves black and lives on the edge. More highlights from the show below (courtesy of NYMag).
