The glove is making a comeback and American Couture glove designer, Miss Numa, is helping it reach full-on fashion status.
“The glove protects, conceals and reveals all at the same time… evoking attributes of femininity and mystery,” Numa Perrier, the designer, said.
Recently, Miss Numa collaborated with designer Louis Verdad for his spring collection and fashion show during LA’s fashion week. The gloves were a perfect complement to the collection, featuring the colors of ivory and gold.
Perrier believes her gloves are made for strong and successful women, such as Michelle Obama.
“My gloves are about touching people, connecting to them and helping them connect with others- all while being dressed beautifully,” Perrier said.
Miss Numa makes everything from biker gloves, opera gloves and even peek-a-boo shaped gloves. The design company is now introducing the Prowler series, which include gloves with animal prints.
