The October Hot List

By Leah

ALLNewKérastase is launching two products this season, Chroma Thermique, a styling milk for color-treated hair and Sublimateur Jour, a leave-in cream for dry locks. According to the folks at Kérastase more than 40% of women suffer from damaged dry syndrome due to stress from the environment, thermal shock and ongoing chemical processing. Heal hair with Chroma Thermique and Sublimateur Jour; both retail for $36, available at Kerastase-usa.com.

The Japanese bathing ritual or “ofuro” is an age-old custom that people today still enjoy …voila it’s all in the bath time. Scrub away stress and layers of icky dull skin with the updated Yu-Be Foaming Skin Polish ($18). Made with delicate grains of bran rice and bamboo, this polish is perfect to rid skin of dead summer layers.

bbfallBobbi Brown jump starts fall beauty with the release of Rich Color Lip Gloss($20). From the lady that knows lip products…Brown’s the woman who brought lipstick back to life in 1991 when her 10 infamous lip colors debuted at Bergdorf Goodman. The new lip stuff is absolutely everything imaginable in a gloss; full color coverage that mimics a lipstick, a shimmery shine, and a smooth balm-like consistency that won’t fade or feather.

infinite-liquid-linerallMilani introduces two new eye liners this season. Eye Tech Liquid Eye Liner ($6.99) is a pen-like liner that uses a water-based formula with a felt-tip applicator …seriously the easiest liquid liner on the market that’s a steal. The Infinite Liquid Eye Liner ($5.99) is a 24-hour waterproof formula that works in seconds to get the look right …it’s that powerful. Endless, a metallic purple and Forever, a golden bronze are definitely the hot hues this fall.
