By Samantha

F O R  J O S E P H, a contemporary line of women’s clothing has become a fashion favorite for its soft garments with effortless sophistication and wearability. The line was started by couple Joseph and Laurence Agi in 1986 when they shipped their first collection to Barneys. They have a loyal and ever growing customer base as consumers have learned to trust them in their designs which area always well-made, cut to perfection and sourced from the best fabrics from around the globe. The styles are fresh and youthful, but remain refined and sleek, with each season’s offerings promising classic basics that are fashion forward and timeless.

The couple sources their inspiration from real street-wear from Rodeo Drive to Rue St. Honore and everywhere throughout the world from the Americas to Europe. Joseph’s fashion business sense combined with Laurence’s design skill has made these two a power couple in the fashion world. While the line was initially manufactured in Italy, they have now expanded to various places around the world, wherever the best fabrics and artisans for their garments can be found.

And the Award for Delectable Arm Candy Goes to…Christian Louboutin

By Jessica

With the film adaptation of the Tony award-winning musical, “Nine,” getting Oscar buzz, it’s fitting that one of the movie’s stars, Marion Cotillard, wears equally winning accessories.

With supple leather material, silver studs and a chain wrist handle, the Lolita clutch by Christian Louboutin brings new meaning to the word, “Star-Studded.” Its intricately beautiful assortment of studs dazzle against the French actress’ asymmetric Elie Saab dress and stunning Christian Dior stilettos.

With sparkling, resplendent embellishments and the elegant ‘Christian Louboutin’ logo, the Lolita Studded clutch is more red carpet than rock-and-roll. The dazzling bag is the latest work of art from Christian Louboutin’s collection to grace the red carpet—and with its glittering adornments, it’s more than deserving of the Paparazzi spotlight.

And as any fashion lover knows, if there was a real award show for brilliant accessories, Christian Louboutin would be a “shoe-in.” One of many gems from Louboutin’s latest collection, the Lolita Studs clutch is available in black/silver and cream/gold and retails for $1,195. By Leah

LaPraALLRaychel Wade, the go-to-gal for bridal beauty (she’s done some 500 brides) enlightens POSHGLAM with the “I do’s” for any lady taking the walk down the aisle.

According to Wade the bridal look for fall varies depending on several things. “What changes the look; where you are getting married, the venue, like how rich the interiors are, and or will it be indoors or outdoors. Also are you having rich burgundy in your flowers, if yes then change up your lipstick.” Wade continues, “I always ask the bride where are you getting married and at what time of day.” In order to get the look to last Wade expresses you must use the proper products. “Using a good foundation with having skin in tip top shape is essential. When I meet a bride for a trial I hope they are on a good skin care regime. If so I absolutely see the difference, and doing facials, and religiously using cleaners, toners, moisturizers etc., makes an impact as well.” As far as achieving a long-lasting effect, Wade adds, “Layering makeup is key …the more you layer the more staying power makeup has. For example with eyes, I’ll use a foundation base, then a cream shadow and finish with powder …the more your pack it on the better it’ll last.”

The age-old inquiry, what about using false eyelashes to make eyes pop? Wade proclaims, “Of the 500 brides I’ve done only five did not use them. Basically you have two options: individuals that are short to fill in gaps under mascara or full sets that look natural.”

Modern meets LUXE in Perfume a la Memoire Liquide Bespoke Perfumery

By Leah

Memoire Liquide Bespoke Perfumery Trio

Stash that same-old-boring-and-loaded-with-too-much-alcohol-perfume for a roll-on of Memoire Liquide Bespoke Perfume. This stuff is high class (and were not talking that of the HOTlanta Housewives), for the discerning client of fine fragrance. Tons of fragrance bases are available to select from, but the real fun is uncovering a customized, bespoke, formula. Once a desired scent is concocted, it sits on file for future replenishment. The concept of Memoire Liquide Bespoke Perfumery is actually quite elementary, combine the elements of smell with memories and presto, the outcome is a made-to-order aroma. Why this perfumery is top-notch? It’s their keen attention to detail (impeccable service meets timeless elegance) and their rare selection of base notes. And if you like lotions and potions (e.g., massage oils) its doable pulling from what is already on file.
