Nony Tochterman, the creative genius behind celebrity favorite clothing line, Petro Zillia, is no stranger to fashion. In fact, Tochterman finds it hard to separate her life from fashion and style. Growing up in Tel Aviv, she grew up watching her mother run a trendy boutique and was sewing by seven years old. By 11, she was selling hand-made feathered earrings to her friends, and at 17, she sold her first piece of clothing in her mother’s boutique. With dreams of fashion, she re-located to Los Angeles to learn the retail end of the business and then to New York. After the jet-setter returned to Los Angeles, Petro Zillia was born in 1996 to high acclaim from editors and taste-makers alike. In 2006, she opened the doors of The House of Petro Zillia, her retail haven, which pays homage to the lifestyle, spirit and style of Petro Zillia on Tochterman.Petro 2smaller

Starting with simple accessories, Nony Tochterman created a large-scale, ready-to-wear line that has been photographed in leading magazines and worn by celebrities from Scarlett Johansson and Fergie to Mischa Barton and Paris Hilton. Tochterman gains inspiration from retro styles and compliments them with her own unique twist making each garment truly unique and fashion-forward.
