Fluxus at Brentwood Gardens

By Michelle

fluxus1The Fluxus brand was launched in 2006 by Martin Paquette and is Los Angeles-based and produced. Its look is inspired by the experimental Fluxus art movement of the 1960’s and is best known for basic layering and soft knit pieces. The label may also sound familiar as it is carried at high-end retailers such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, H. Lorenzo and Fred Segal.

In the past three years Fluxus has seen a whirlwind of success and has made some important additions this year. This past Spring a flagship store was opened in Larchmont, Project Runway Season 3 winner Jeffery Sebelia was brought on as Head Designer and most recently Fluxus opened a second location at Brentwood Gardens. This newest location will carry the highly anticipated Capsule Collection from Sebelia with exclusive couture pieces, along with other men’s and women’s styles.

On Saturday, November 14th a party at the Brentwood Gardens location will mark the official opening of the store. In light of the opening, 25% off will be given from 1pm to 4pm on both men’s and women’s merchandise. Although most items are under $100, prices range from $40 to $200 and the exclusive Jeffrey Sebelia for Fluxus Capsule Collection retails between $66 and $300.
