Thanksgiving is a day to be grateful for the goodness in your life. For some this may be small for others this may be tall (not all of us are blessed with Gisele Bündchen’s long legs). Regardless, saying gracias is possible in many shapes and forms. A loving way to reveal your gratitude is by gifting something that gives back. Makeup mogul Loren Ridinger is taking gifting seriously this year with her line of Motives Cosmetics. She’s collaborating with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women national campaign with a Go Red Lipstick ($14).

The launch of Go Red Lipstick premiered this past October at Miami’s Red Dress Fashion Show during Funkshion Fashion Week in Miami Beach, Florida. The shade, a luscious red, was created solely for the American Heart Association’s campaign. From the sales of the lipstick, Motives plans to donate 25 percent of all proceeds to the American Heart Association. “Heart disease is the number one killer among women today and is something all of us have been affected by or will be affected by at one point in our life,” said Ridinger.

Ignite inspiration with coworkers, friends and family and opt in to get some red in your life. And come February 5, 2010 the National Wear Red Day, plan to pile on red (lips included) to show your support.
